DAY 1
After arrival at Chandigarh Railway Station, drive to Shimla, 2180 metres above sea level. Spend the day at leisure by exploring the Mall Road here.
DAY 2
After breakfast, drive from Shimla to Sarahan via Kufri, Theog, Fagu, Narkanda and Rampur. Halt at Rampur for lunch. On reaching Sarahan, check in to the hotel.
2165 metres above the sea level, Sarahan commands a view of Srikhan Mahadev Peak and is famous for its 800 years old Bhimkali Temple, one of the best examples of Hill Architecture. In the evening, enjoy panoramic views of the Shrikhand Peaks. Also, visit Bhimkali Temple, one of the 51 Shaktipeeths, and attend the mesmerising aarti in the evening.
After this return to your hotel for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 3
Sarahan is 2744 metres above sea level. Participate in the morning aarti at Bhimkali Temple. After breakfast, check out of the hotel and depart for Sangla via Karcham. Your journey from here will take you to another spectacular destination in the middle of the Himalayas which is also known as Baspa valley. It is, without doubt, the prettiest valley in Himachal.
Arrive at Sangla and check in to the hotel. After a delicious dinner, enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 4
After breakfast, explore the ancient Kamru Fort and Temple which is dedicated to the Goddess Kamakhya Devi which was brought from Assam. After lunch, leave for an excursion to Chitkul, the last Village on an old Indo-Tibetan trade route. Walk through the green orchards and enjoy the serenity as a brilliant stream passes by. As the day ends, return to the hotel in Sangla for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
DAY 5
After breakfast this morning, check-out from your hotel and drive to Kalpa. 2670 metres above the sea level, Kalpa is the district headquarter of Kinnaur and was once the favorite getaway of Lord Dalhousie. On reaching Kalpa, check in to the hotel. Once known as Chini, little has changed in Kalpa in the last 500 years. Legend has it that when Lord Dalhousie wanted to take a break from his hectic schedule in Shimla, he would come here on his Horseback. By the side of Kalpa is a 79 feet high rock formation that resembles a Shivlinga that changes its colour as the day passes.
After lunch, rest in your hotel for a while. In the evening, visit the Buddhist Gompa, Hu Bu Lan Kar. Return to the hotel for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
DAY 6
Early in the morning, enjoy the sunrise over Kinner Kailash Peaks. Kalpa is famous for its apples and chilgoza plantations. The tree belongs to the pine family and the fruit is about an inch long and wrapped in a soft cover. After breakfast, visit the local school and the Narayan Nagini Temple Complex, which has shrines of Hindu, Buddhist and some local deities. After lunch, go for an excursion to Roghi Village to get closer to the ‘Pahari’ way of life as you mingle with the locals. Later return to the hotel in Kalpa for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
DAY 7
After breakfast proceed to Rampur , reach , check in hotel, where you can enjoy the traditional villagers , enjoy the evening stay Rampur.
DAY 8
After breakfast early proceed for Manali , on the way Pandoh Dam , Oat Tunnel which is 6 Kms long connecting the long differences of mountains , Vaishno Devi temple in Kullu , reach manali , check in hotel.
DAY 9
After breakfast, take a half-day local sightseeing of Manali, visiting the 450 years old Hadimba temple, Manu Temple, Club House. Visit the Tibetan Monastery and the handicraft center as well as the picturesque village of Vashisht known for its hot sulphur springs. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
DAY 10
Today morning, take a half-day excursion to Rohtang Pass/Rohtang snow point (closed on Tuesday). On return, visit Solang Valley. Today, you can opt for adventure sports like Para Gliding, Zorbing or Skiing (subject to snow) on direct-payment basis. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Rohtang Pass: It is 51 Kms | 2hrs from Manali. It is not accessible for almost eight months in a year as it is covered by snow. Guests are generally taken to the snow point on Rohtang Road, permitted by Border Security Force. In case a Tuesday falls on this day, guests shall be taken to the snow point on some other day as we have three nights in Manali.
Solang Valley: It is a side valley at the top of the Kullu Valley, 14 kms northwest of the resort town in Manali on the way to Rohtang Pass and is known for its summer and winter adventure activities. Most commonly offered activities are parachuting, paragliding, skating and zorbing.
Note: Both Snow Point /Rohtang Pass and Solang Valley will be covered on the same day and the visit is subject to weather conditions.
DAY 11
After breakfast departure for Manikaran, there the sacred Gurudwara Manikaran Sahib which is famous for its cooking food in the boiling water , after excursion proceed for Mandi, reach hotel, check in.
DAY 12
After breakfast, drive and further to Chandigarh/Kalka and get dropped at the railway station or airport for your onward journey.
