DAY 1
Arrival at ISBT KASHMIRI GATE Delhi Departure Time at ( 09:00 PM & 10:00 PM ). From there you proceed for Shimla by Volvo A/C Bus. Overnight Journey. (8 hrs Journey)
DAY 2
On Arrival at shimla bus stand pick up & transfer to hotel & check in to the Hotel, Afternoon half day city tour visiting “INDIAN INSTITUTE OF ADVANCE STUDIES” At 1983m, this magnificent English renaissance structure was the former Vice regal Lodge. Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town – “The Mall & THE RIDGE” This large open space in the heart of town presents excellent views of the mountain ranges. Shimla’s landmarks – the neo- gothic structure of Christ Church and the neo – Tudor library building – are worth seeing. Over night stay at Shimla. (ADVANCE STUDY, SANKAT MOCHAN TEMPLE, VAISHNO DEVI GUFA, HIMALAYAN BIRD PARK & BY WALK MALL ROAD).
DAY 3
After breakfast leave for Shimla by enroute visiting the exquisite palace of erstwhile Maharajah of Rampur Bushair Explore the town and then leave for the beautiful village of Sangla perched High above the river Sutlej, is steeped in legend, hill architecture and the remarkable natural beauty, orchards and small villages. Overnight Stay in hotel in Sangla
DAY 4
(A day to have short comfortable walks around the area). This morning after breakfast we will be driving you to Chitkul ( 20 kms, total 1 hrs, each side – 3,450 metres / 11,318 feet.) which is the last village on Indian side on the Indo–Tibetan border. The
driven to Kalpa village (2-3 hrs.) Enroute we will stop at Recongpeo and will have a walk around the local market. Recongpeo is the district headquarters of Kinnaur district. We will have lunch in a local restaurant where you have a choice to enjoy Indian or Tibetian food. After lunch we will drive to kalpa ( 7 kms), you will check in to your hotel. After some rest you may wish to take a walk to Kalpa village and the nearby Roghi village. These villages are covered with thick pine forests and are famous for apricots and apples. The finest view of the Mt. Kinner Kailash Mountain (6000 metres) can be had from here. This is a spectacular sight early in the morning as the rising sun touches the snowy peaks with crimson and gold light.
DAY 5
After breakfast we will drive start early at 08:00 A.M to Kaza. on the way sightseeing of Pin Valley and Tabo Monastery. Today we will be entering the beautiful Spiti valley which is also known as the cold desert of the Himalayas (this area is cut from rest of the world due to heavy snow in the winters). en route we will visit the Gue village which is also the last Indian village on Indo-Tibetan boarder. Here we will be visiting the naturally preserved mummy of a Buddhist monk which is about 600 years old, which was discovered here while building the road. Later on we continue our drive to Tabo. On arrival at Tabo we will visit the Tabo monastery which is the oldest monastery in the Himalayas. Lunch would be in tabo and later we continue our drive to kaza via Dhankar monestry and Dhanjar fort. We will arrive Kaza by late evening. Overnight stay in Kaza.
DAY 6
Morning visit the Ki monastery, 12 kms from Kaza. The largest township in Lahaul Valley and Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh, Kaza boasts of high mountains with snowy crowns, crystal clear rivers, streams and barren splendor interspersed with patches of green. Kaza is known for its colorful festivals and the Sakya Tangyud Monastery.
Rudyard Kipling described the Lahaul and Spiti region as ‘a world within a world’. And situated about 11,980 feet above sea level, it really is just that. Strung along the Spiti River, Kaza and the Spiti Valley have strong geographical and cultural similarities with Tibet and Ladakh. Kaza is the sub-divisional headquarters of Spiti Valley, making it an important administrative and commercial center.
Most hotels, market, main bus depot, hospitals and government offices are located here. Kaza can be divided into two sections, Kaza Soma is the new town while the older one is Kaza Khas. The government offices are located in Kaza Soma while Kaza Khas has the king’s palace, monasteries, gompas and other historical buildings.
This centuries – old gompa is a labyrinth of rooms and corridors – and at one time also acted as a fort. It houses valuable thangkas and offers a panoramic view of the area. Also visit the small gompa at Kibber, 9 kms further ahead. Kibber at 4205 m has the distinction of being the highest permanently inhabited village of the region. Overnight at guest house.
DAY 7
Today visit the road less travelled or off beat places near Kaza

You can move to Losar if you would like to stay away from hustle bustle of Kaza

If planning to go to Losar, Enjoy the most scenic drive of entire Spiti Valley between Losar and Kaza at an easy pace
About 2 – 2.5 Hrs drive between Losar and Kaza, depending upon the breaks you take in between Visit Chandratal via Kunzum Pass and enjoy the day there
Camps are about 2.5 KMs from the lake, either stay there or back to Battal where there is a PWD rest house now though without electricity. But, no point going back a painful ride to Losar over Kunzum Pass unless you want to stay in guest house with electricity. Better stay at Battal and save time as well as energy for next day.

DAY 8
Head back to Manali via Rohtang Pass
Drive through Battal – Chattru – Gramphu towards Rohtang Pass is out of the world
About 7 – 8 Hrs drive easily if you do not get messed up Rohtang Pass
DAY 9
Relish the natural exquisiteness of Manali as you have half day left to scout. In the evening, you will be transferred to Bus stand to take a Volvo bus which would leave for Delhi at 4:30. Overnight travel.
DAY 10
Today morning reach to volvo point Delhi.

DAY 11
Morning after breakfast, Check out from the hotel and proceed to Chandigarh Airport.
